NSYSU sings birthday songs in 40 languages to commemorate its 40th anniversary in 2020!

After holding the last administrative meeting in the academic year 2019/2020, the Office of Secretariat continued the tradition and thanked the management staff for their hard work and dedication. The meeting coincided with the 40th anniversary of National Sun Yat-sen University and was an occasion to present the University’s heritage and express best wishes.

The Office of Secretariat said, that this year’s concept was to enumerate all years from 1980 (establishment of NSYSU) to 2020; each of the administrative and academic managers held a board with the year they started their career at NSYSU. The Office thanked all teachers and students for walking this path together and their contribution. The Office made a display of creativity, collecting more than 40 birthday songs in different languages. You can come to the balcony of the 7th floor of the Administrative Building and scan QR codes to listen to the songs. The project represents inter-cultural unity and celebrates the University’s anniversary.

Chinese New Year celebrations are just behind the corner; NSYSU President Ying-Yao Cheng wrote couplets to pass good wishes for the Year of the Rat to the teachers, staff and students and invited co-workers to get a copy at the Office of Secretariat.
