NSYSU Committee on Fisheries Extension with Animal Protection Office issues a handbook on aquaculture disease prevention in Kaohsiung
The Committee on Fisheries Extension, College of Marine Sciences, NSYSU, collaborated with Kaohsiung City Animal Protection Office in compiling a handbook on the prevention of common diseases in aquaculture to help reduce economic losses and increase aquaculture production in Kaohsiung. The publishing cooperation agreement was signed by the Dean of the College of Marine Sciences Chin-Chang Hung and the Director-General of Kaohsiung City Animal Protection Office Kun-Sung Yeh. The handbook summarizes the common diseases in local aquacultures and preventions using scientific farming methods. It is expected to be published at the end of 2021.
