1. 十二年國教明年上路，臺灣師範大學心測中心公布特色招生各科參考題本。特色招生明年7月12、13號兩天舉行，基北區考英語、數學、國文一（閱讀理解）三科，其他包括：桃園、竹苗、中投、彰化、台南、高雄，以及嘉義區4所私立學校單獨加入的七個招生區，另外加考國文二（語文表達）、自然、社會總共六科；數學科將有非選擇題；社會科從104年起加考非選擇題。
12-year Compulsory Education will be put into practice next year. RCPET announced the question book for the reference of enrollment with distinguishing features which will take place on July 12 and 13th next year. English, Math and Chinese Reading Comprehension tests will be included in the examination of Taipei and Keelung Districts. For Taoyuan, Hsinchu, 苗栗, Taichung, 南投, 彰化, Tainna and Kaohsiung and the four private schools in 嘉義 district, Chinese Expression and Science tests will be additionally included in the enrollment. There will be non-choice questions in math test. And non-choice questions will be also tested in Social Study from 2015.
2. 暑假不必出國也能在國內上到國際級的全英語課程！由中興大學、中正大學、成功大學與中山大學四所國立大學共組的臺灣綜合大學系統，將在今年暑期首次舉辦暑期英語課程，開放國內外大學生及碩博士生報名參加；目前已經有國內外500名學生報名參加。
You can take English Immersion lecture in Taiwan without going abroad in summer vacation. Taiwan Comprehensive University System organized by National 中興 University, National 中正 University, National 成功 University and National Sun Yat-sen University will hold an English course in summer period for the first time this year. The internal and international college students and the students studying in master and doctor degree can apply for it. So far five hundred students have finished the application.
3. 新北市教育局結合市內高中職，辦理國中生職涯試探育樂營活動，共有「土木建築」、「機械」、「餐旅」、「家政」、「設計」等10個職群，暑假期間將有24所學校開辦111個場次，活動免費，報名時間到6月21號，學生可以直接向各國中輔導室洽詢。
Education Bureau of New Taipei City Government cooperates with local vocational schools and vocational schools to hold entertainment camps for junior high school students to exploring their future careers. There are ten kinds of careers including civil engineering, mechanical engineering, hospitality management, household management and designing. Twenty-four schools will hold one hundred and eleven activities and each one them are free. The students who are interested in them can contact with the Counselors' Office in their schools and finish the application before June 21st.
4. 國立中壢高中經教育部核定，從10月1號起正式改隸為「國立中央大學附屬中壢高級中學」，並在10月25號中壢高中校慶日當天正式掛牌。中央大學表示，中壢高中改隸後，大學教學資源可以挹注到社區高中，協助學校發展為特色學校，打造更優質的教育環境。
中壢 Senior High School is approved by the Ministry of Education to change its name and educational system to be the Affiliated Senior High School of National Central University from October 1st and will hang out the shingle in the anniversary celebration on October 25th. The university indicated that the change can extend the educational resource to community senior high schools helping them with development of specialty and construction of a better learning environment.
5. 東部護士荒！花蓮門諾醫院護理人員不足60到100人，醫院邀請藝人蕭敬騰，擔任門諾醫院的護理招募大使，希望更多護理人員，願意為花東地區的民眾服務；並呼籲每位病患和家屬，以同理心尊重和善待護理人員，才能夠使更多護理人員願意在護理工作崗位上繼續服務。
There is a big shortage of nurses in eastern area. Mennonite Christian Hospital needs sixty to one hundred of nursing staff. It invited artist 蕭敬騰 to be the enrollment ambassador hoping to attracting more care workers to take care of the locals in 花蓮 and 台東 districts. It also called upon patients and the families to respect and treat the staff well for making them keep working in the hospital.
6. 英國保險業者分析「交通統計數據」後發現，這幾年，小孩普遍擁有手機，在路上被車撞的孩童人數也顯著增加。前年英國16歲以下孩子，因為車禍喪生或重殘的數字，高達2400多人。這個年齡層的孩子有兩成五坦承，他們就連過馬路的時候，都曾經因為打電話、上網或是看電子郵件而分心。
The data of transportation analyzed by an insurance company from England finds that the number of children who are hit by cars on streets is obviously increased after the number of children who use cell phones is increased. In 2011, the number of children under sixteen year old who were dead or seriously injured by car accidents in England reached two thousand four hundred or so. About twenty-five percent of the children being in these ages confess that they have ever being distracted by cell phone when cross a street because they are talking, accessing internet or checking email.
