Global Views Monthly magazine has announced the best universities in Taiwan ranking 2022. National Sun Yat-sen University is listed in the top 5 universities. In addition, for the indicator of social reputation, NSYSU is the second highest ranked school, going up three places from last year and outranked only by National Taiwan University.

To keep up with changing social trends, Global Views Monthly has been updating its key indicators and weighted scoring for years in order to provide credible ranking results. For the indicator of social reputation, according to Global Views Monthly, it looks to academic contribution, development of patented technology and SDGs participation. Schools need to raise talents who efficiently apply knowledges into industries and meets general social expectation. Thus, the indicator of social reputation is relatively unique.
